1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We collect information necessary to "bring your photos to life":

  • Account Data: Name, email address, and authentication details.
  • Media Assets: The photos you upload for processing. (Note: We do not use your photos for biometric identification or facial recognition).
  • Technical Data: IP address, device type, and usage analytics to ensure the app runs smoothly.

3. How we use your information

We use your data strictly to deliver the "Cinematic Hug":

  • To process and "render" your living movies.
  • To notify you when a "Job" is complete or watched.
  • To provide customer support and improve our AI animation engine.

4. Sharing and Overseas Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. To deliver our service, we share data with trusted infrastructure providers (e.g., cloud hosting and AI processing units).

International Transfer: Your data may be processed on secure servers located outside of Australia, primarily in the United States. We ensure these providers maintain strict security standards.

5. Photos that fail Safety Review

To protect our community and comply with Australian law, photos that fail our "Acceptable Use" check (e.g., illegal or explicit content) may be retained indefinitely. We may disclose this material and associated account metadata to the Australian Federal Police or other authorities where required.

6. Data Retention & Your Memories

Source Photos (The Work-in-Progress):

To protect your privacy, we generally retain your original uploaded "Source Photos" only as long as necessary to complete the cinematic rendering "Job." Once your movie is ready, these raw files are typically cleared from our active processing cache.

Final Movies (The Keepsake):

Your completed "Living Movies" are stored securely in your private gallery so you and your recipient can access them. You have full control and may request the permanent deletion of a movie at any time through the app.

Storage Lifecycle & "The 90-Day Grace Period":

We are a service for creating moments, not a long-term storage vault. To ensure our platform remains fast and secure for everyone:

  • The 90-Day Window: We provide a minimum of 90 days of secure hosting for every completed movie.
  • Advance Notice:We will never "surprise delete" a memory. If we intend to clear older files from our servers, we will provide you with a heartfelt "Final Call" via email or app notification. This gives you a reasonable opportunity to download and save your cinematic hug to your own device for permanent safekeeping.

7. Your Rights (APPs)

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, please use our Contact Form.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as our technology evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
